Dams
The Wollondilly Shire is the home to some of the largest Dams in Australia including Warragamba Dam, which provides 75% of Sydney’s water supply. The Cataract Dam and Avon Dam are located in the Region, which are home to some beautiful picnicking spots. Kayak the dam and enjoy a packed picnic afterwards!

Japanese Gardens
For something a little out of the ordinary, Campbelltown is the host of Japanese gardens which will take your breath away and give you a sense of peace and serenity. Wander around the garden and relax to the gentle sounds of water rushing over a rock waterfall. A cooling and refreshing place, the Japanese Gardens and Teahouse is a unique part of the Campbelltown Arts Centre. The gardens have a traditional waterfall, Kio pond, timber bridge, contrived stonework, pathway and flourishing plants.
